what is the maximum time span allowed for sample results before being tied into a drinking water system?
Usually, if you follow the desinfection procedure AWWA Standard C651, usually you flush the pipe and should be good to do a bacterial testing. The complete procedure is detailed in AWWA C651.
I believe you said you already passed the bacterialogical testing. Now you want to know how long the pipe can sit there untouched, before it requires re-chlorination and re-sampling, because the pipe has not yet been tied-in to your system for some reason or another. This is a good question and one that I have pondered as well. I hope someone out there has a definative answer.
Thank you underpressure. That is exactly what I was asking only your structure of the question is much better than mine was. I have done many searches for this information and oddly enough it doesn't seem to exist.
