Hello, I would recommend Börger-type lobe pumps. Regardless of the kind of pump you chose, routine and preventative maintenance are inevitable. What is the size of your plant? What volume do you need to dewater?
The capacity of the plants concerned is 1,000 to 36,000 inh. eq.. The average volume of the floatation tank is about 10 m3. Some are equipped with a ramp that disperses industrial water at the surface to clear the foam. Generally, a submerged pump removes the effluent.
I can confirm that the use of a lobe pump (Börger or Vogelsang) is much better than a submerged one; we have tested it on industrial effluents which often generate lots of foam in degassing stations.
