What are your practices for the final treatment of wastewater?
Our process is pretty standard. The wastewater spends about 20 minutes at minimum in a chlorine-contact tank. We’ll mix in sodium hypochlorite during the process as well to disinfect the effluent before releasing it back into the local waterways.
I know some states have looked at alternative systems to improve consistency in detention time length for all particles of fluid. Ours is no different. It’s a little dry to read, but it might give you some alternatives to help the comparison process. Here’s the link to check out if you want.
