Yes, we use them to inspect the exterior of a water tower. The drone is equipped with a camera (option to select photo taking interval). Plus: enables inspection of hard-to-reach places Minus: depends on the weather conditions and batteries need to be recharged
Hello, a drone equipped with a thermal imaging camera allows you to detect leaks on pipes that are otherwise difficult to access.
Hi, Our oceanfront plant is protected by a 250-m breakwater made up of 18t-ACCROPODE™ segments. We are planning to use a radar-equipped drone to monitor the structure and assess its sustainability.
Hi, Works well for inspecting underground structures that are hard to reach, i.e., storm tanks and wastewater collectors. Great example is what they are planning in Barcelona.
Hi, Do you have any info on the Barcelona operation? Is there something on Internet?
Here’s the Barcelona story: http://www.thelocal.es/20151207/could-drones-soon-replace-workers-in-barcelonas-sewers
The difficulty I had on my networks was piloting the drone because local companies use GPS and that’s impossible at 10 m under ground.
