Yes, I do. What is the problem? There are better configurations. Clarifier and Sandfilter are not necessarily required if you use an MBR for textile water treatment. Why screening? Physical Treatment yes, but why screening?
I am having problem with Sand filter and UF, frequent back washing and bio fouling. Do you have any operational problem similar to me with sand filter and UF ? Offcourse MBR is right selection for water recycling. Regards
Hi Kashif For the UF unit, you need to do regular cleaning cycles with an acid or base solution. Depending on the recommendations of your suppliers. Also after 5 years, typically, the membranes will have to be replaced. It is a cross-flow filter? Try to increase the speed so that there is more shear stress and thus less solids on the membranes surfaces. If your sandfilter is overloaded (-> frequent backwashing) then your clarifier is not working well. What is the SVI of your clarifier? Take corresponding counter measures.
