Scaling or fouling on UV lamps

I think you’re going to get a lot of different answers here. Needs can be very different in some communities. Scaling and fouling really aren’t issues that I see a lot at my location. We use UV purification as a primary disinfectant and we really don’t have much in terms of carbonate accumulation. If anything, having a powerful enough system that could cut through dissolved organics more effectively would be something that I would strongly look at. Though the size that you’re looking to develop I don’t think would really work for that in my circumstances. Yet I think, if you look at smaller facilities anyway, that you might find higher levels for scaling or fouling issues. So to be honest, I think you might need to define what your target market is going to be for this product in development first. Then you’ll be able to determine what specific needs that market is going to need and then work on developing the product to meet those needs. At this current time, the question seems a little too broad and that, quite likely, will end up providing information that may not be as beneficial as you might like it to be.
