Problem with digester-decanter operation
In order to ascertain whether this volume is sufficient, you need to calculate what the 1 100 USG amount corresponds to in terms of the incoming pollutant load.
Have you measured the concentration of sludge being sent to the sludge tank.
Have you checked the level of sludge in the digestion portion of the tank?
Hi, do your biological disks perform nitrification? To check this, you can measure the NO3 output of the disks with test strips, colorimetric tests, or portable spectrophotometer. If the disks nitrify and your sludge is extracted towards the D-D, then it denitrifies and sludge goes up. Check to see if you have nitrification, that's the first step. And to solve it, it depends on the results, i.e., whether or not nitrification of the extracted sludge occurs.
