New question about the LS42
The same thing happened to me not long ago, and a simple shut down and reconnection of the battery solved my problem. Have you tried to force the LS42 to turn off by leaving the activation key in until both the left LEDs start flashing? Then internally disconnect the battery as well.
The green and amber lights going on with the key indicates that the LS is in extended standby mode, i.e. it has been taken out of the box and the battery connected.
To actually activate it you need to:
1) insert the magnetic activation key until the LEDs start flashing
2) remove the key -> the lights go out
3) re-introduce the key for at least 2 seconds -> the blue light comes on, then the other lights depending on the GSM status.
