I heard about an Indulin AA-86 contamination in water supplies down in Texas. Could that happen to me too?

Indulin AA-86 is kind of scary because it can burn your skin. The good news is that it is an industrial chemical that is used as an asphalt emulsifier. Unless there is an asphalt terminal in your community, you probably don’t have to worry about this chemical. If you do have an asphalt and emulsion company, then you may wish to talk to them and your local utility about the emergency steps that can be taken should an exposure to the water system occur.
