How Many operator are required to run a 65ML/day facility
In my opinion it depends on the qualification of the operators and if you use providers for urgent repairs
It is possible to reduce the number of people if people are required to intervene in case of emergency
Labor rules must be respected: compulsory team intervention for dangerous operations or work
That would depend on how your plant is set up. I started out at a 25 MGD (94 ML) plant which generally ran 10 - 17 MGD. We had 2 operators per 12 hr shift and 2 maintenance people (8 hrs 5days a week). A superintendant, plant manager and a lab operator for all the state samples and testing.
Generally one operator would run the plant, the second would assist and be around if needed in an emergemcy. Other wise the second one would be a laborer, mow grass, mop floors, clean up. fix stuff. etc.
