How do you feel about adding algae-growth systems to wastewater treatment to control nutrient levels?

Ah yes. There’s nothing like having a new regulation waiting for you in the morning when you wake up. I think anything that can help our industry be able to meet the ever-changing regulatory requirements we face is a good thing. Whether that’s membrane technology, a big old tank filled with algae, or a super-sharp grinder that kills of fatbergs, we need tools. I like the idea of using algae because of how quickly and consistently it can reduce certain nutrient levels. I’m really curious to see how a system like this one could work: https://www.google.com/patents/US20140273171
