Very soon we will be implementing EVOQUA's chlorine dioxide generation system (reagents: HCl 30% + chlorite ion 30%).
Do you have any feedback on this type of system, especially in regards to commissioning?
Thank you in advance
In the past we used chlorite/chlorine generators, which produced satisfactory results in terms of organoleptic standards (taste, color, smell). They are more complicated to calibrate than chlorination though. We discontinued the practice when we realized the ClO2 weakens PVC pipes.
